The reason we decided to take a look at Registry Mechanic is because it has received 5 star ratings from famous sites such as Microsoft™, Download.com, PC Advisor and many others. Below we will give you our hardcore review so you can decide for yourself whether Registry Mechanic is worth your money or not.

1. Very easy to use: Unlike some of the other registry cleaners we have used so far, Registry Mechanic wins hands down when it comes to user-friendliness. We found that Registry Mechanic is very easy to use for novice users. However, if you are an advanced user you can customize the settings to your needs and requirements. Repairing your registry with Registry Mechanic is as simple as clicking on the 'Scan' button. You can even have Registry Mechanic scan your registry at startup. Once it finishes scanning your system, it displays a list of registry errors. You may choose to remove all or some of the registry errors. Just take a look at the screenshot below and we are sure you will find the interface very familiar:

2. Flexibility: Registry Mechanic is also very flexible. In version 7.0 of Registry Mechanic, there is more than one way to fix a registry. What we like about Registry Mechanic is that it not only diagnoses an invalid registry entry, it goes deep down to find out the link to which that entry connects to! Then it will inform you of the same. Now it is up to you to decide whether you want to keep the entry or have it removed. YOU are in total control!

Another great feature about Registry Mechanic is its custom scan tool. You can choose to scan the whole Windows system, or only certain drives or sections of your operating system. The big advantage here is that it takes less time for a registry cleaner to scan a hard drive compared to scanning the whole windows operating system. That said, even if you set Registry Mechanic to scan your whole system, the scan time taken by the software is relatively less than other registry cleaners we have used and tested so far.

3. Great customer service: Whenever we purchase a software, we make sure that we would receive technical support in case any problems occur. Registry Mechanic scores high even on that level. While the software itself comes with an easy-to-understand manual, you can also browse online FAQ if you need more help. If nothing seems to work, then you can email customer service. Support time is very fast. They generally reply support emails within 24-56 hours.
